Returning to the Cork Factory Hotel after three years was a joyful reunion with the past. the historic charm of the hotel, once a home to the Armstrong Cork and Kerr Glass companies, resonates through the preserved architecture. the spacious rooms, especially the generous bathrooms with walk-in showers, provided a comfortable retreat. We dined at the adjacent Cork and Cap restaurant, relishing the seasonal cuisine and friendly service. the serene ambiance and warm hospitality made our stay memorable, despite some minor room maintenance issues. the staff's courteous demeanor and the convenient amenities like the ice and soda machines on our floor added to the overall positive experience. Although the hotel was a bit out of the way, the peaceful surroundings and the easy access to Lancaster's attractions made it a worthwhile stay. Overall, Cork Factory Hotel's dedication to preserving history while offering modern comforts shines through, making it a destination worth revisiting.
